Welcome to the Power for Autism Parents community. This is a space built for parents and caregivers who are navigating the journey of raising an autistic child. Please take a few minutes to read through these terms — they are written to be clear, not complicated.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account on community.powerforautismparents.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not register or use this community.
These terms apply to all members, whether you are on a free membership or enrolled in a paid program.
2. Who Can Join
This community is open to adults (18 years and older) who are parents or primary caregivers of children with autism. Professionals, researchers and others who do not meet this description are not eligible for membership without prior written permission from Gayatri Vathsan.
By registering, you confirm that you meet this eligibility requirement. If it is found that you do not, your account may be removed without notice.
3. Free Membership
When you sign up, you receive free membership at no cost. This gives you access to:
- Free courses available within the community
- Free resources, guides and materials shared in the community space
- The community feed and peer support spaces
Free membership does not include access to the Silver, Gold or Platinum coaching programs. Those are separate paid offerings described in Section 4 below.
Gayatri Vathsan reserves the right to update or change what is included in the free membership at any time. You will be notified of any material changes.
4. Paid Programs
Within the community, three paid coaching programs are available for separate purchase:
- Silver Program
- Gold Program
- Platinum Program (one-on-one coaching)
Each program is purchased independently and requires a separate enrollment and payment. Details of what each program includes are provided on the relevant program pages within the community.
Payment
All payments are processed securely through the payment gateway linked at checkout. Prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes. Gayatri Vathsan reserves the right to revise pricing at any time; changes will not affect enrollments already in progress.
Refund Policy
- Silver Program: You are eligible for a full refund after attending up to 2 sessions. After the second session, no refund will be issued.
- Gold Program: You are eligible for a full refund after attending up to 2 sessions. After the second session, no refund will be issued.
- Platinum Program: You are eligible for a full refund after attending up to 2 sessions. After the second session, no refund will be issued.
- Courses (free or paid): No refunds are available on standalone courses once access has been granted.
To request a refund, email info@powerforautismparents.com within 7 days of the eligible session with your name and enrollment details.
5. Community Conduct
This community exists because parents showed up for each other. To keep it safe and useful for everyone, all members agree to:
- Treat others with respect. No personal attacks, discrimination, hate speech or bullying of any kind.
- Protect each other’s privacy. What is shared in this community stays here. Do not screenshot, copy or share another member’s story, post or personal information outside this space without their explicit consent.
- No spam or self-promotion. Do not post unsolicited promotions, affiliate links or sales pitches. If you are unsure whether something is appropriate to share, email info@powerforautismparents.com and ask first.
- Stay on topic. Keep posts relevant to the community’s focus — supporting parents and caregivers of autistic children.
Accounts that repeatedly violate these guidelines may be suspended or permanently removed. Gayatri Vathsan makes this determination at her sole discretion.
6. Intellectual Property
All content within this community — including courses, videos, worksheets, posts, guides and any other materials created by Gayatri Vathsan — is her intellectual property. You may use these materials for your own personal learning and caregiving. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, sell or publicly share them without written permission.
Your own posts and contributions within the community remain yours. By posting, you grant Gayatri Vathsan a non-exclusive licence to display your content within the community platform.
7. Privacy and Your Personal Information
When you register, you provide personal information such as your name and email address. This information is used to:
- Create and manage your community account
- Send you community updates, program information and resources relevant to your membership
- Communicate with you regarding your enrollment or support queries
Your information is not sold to third parties. It may be shared with service providers (such as email platforms or payment processors) strictly for the purpose of running this community.
This community is hosted on a WordPress-based platform (FluentCommunity). By registering, you also agree to the privacy practices of that platform as applicable.
You may request deletion of your account and personal data by emailing info@powerforautismparents.com.
8. Limitation of Liability
The content, courses and coaching offered through this community are for informational and supportive purposes only. Nothing here constitutes medical advice, therapy, clinical diagnosis or a substitute for professional medical or psychological care.
Gayatri Vathsan is a coach and educator, not a licensed therapist or medical professional. Please consult qualified professionals for medical, therapeutic or diagnostic decisions related to your child.
To the fullest extent permitted by Indian law, Gayatri Vathsan shall not be liable for any direct, indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this community or reliance on its content.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka.
10. Changes to These Terms
Gayatri Vathsan may update these terms from time to time. When she does, the “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change. Continued use of the community after an update means you accept the revised terms.
